- A Memory

In 2001, driven by a commitment to combat loneliness among the elderly, the NGO 'Vivre Avec le 3ème Âge' was created in Geneva, Switzerland. Over the subsequent decade, this Charity undertook a range of impactful initiatives. One of these involved securing and distributing substantial hardware and software donations from leading technology partners – Logitech, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, and Microsoft – to equip senior centers and nursing homes throughout French-speaking Switzerland. This would prove to be one of the Charity's most significant achievements.

Another project which met with success was the creation of a website enabling senior citizens to share their life stories. See the French language site Histoires de Genève.

Cultural engagement was a key focus, exemplified by a free concert organized with the Swiss National Symphony Orchestra (Orchestre de la Suisse Romande) at Geneva’s Victoria Hall.

This was followed the next year by a special winter holiday season dinner hosted at Geneva's Brasserie Lipp, providing a free festive gathering for eighty senior citizens.

These represent only a selection of the diverse activities undertaken by Vivre Avec le 3ème Âge, further details of which can be found in these press articles.
